Our Story

House of Malibu was born from a shared passion for art, self-expression, and the belief that what you wear should mean something. Founded by Malgosia and Ania Migdal—a powerhouse mother-daughter duo—we create wearable inspiration that helps you express your truth and never blend in.

Both born in Gdansk, Poland, we made our way to Los Angeles with big dreams and even bigger hearts. Now based in Malibu, we pour our love for art, travel, and meaningful design into every piece we create.

We specialize in premium 100% cotton French terry sweatshirts and linen-cotton blend kimonos—featuring empowering quotes and meaningful messages. Our collection includes both hand-painted one-of-a-kind pieces and small-batch printed designs, all made in the USA.

Malgosia brings over 28 years of experience in interior design and architecture, with a keen eye for beauty, artistry, and thoughtful detail.

Ania has spent over 15 years in the fashion industry, working in product development and production for major retailers. Her expertise in bringing products to life has been invaluable in creating House of Malibu.

Together, we've created something truly special—a brand that blends artisanal craft, coastal elegance, and deeply personal storytelling.
